Justin Lin will be directing the feature film of Hot Wheels, based on the classic Mattel car toy line that Legendary Pictures has been developing for awhile.
The live-action film originally had Simon Crane directing back in 2013 with a rewrite by Paul Attanasio from a script by Iron Man scribes Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. A new writer will be brought in and Lin and his Perfect Storm Entertainment will produce.
