Shown below from ToyFair 2025 is a look at the new DC Multiverse, Movie Maniacs, Super Powers, Sportspicks and more from McFarlane Toys.

Did the McFarlane "James Cameron's Avatar" line do well enough at US retail to warrant what seems to be a full on re-release of that line? They stunk up the shelves here in NZ and got clearanced *really* fast which *never* happens down here... They're fine toys, but there just wasn't the demand for them here.

So DST has survived Diamond's bankruptcy?

Well it was a chapter 11 bankruptcy Diamond Dist filled which means the company is trying to restructure themselves not go out of business. Its still not clear in the long run what that will mean for DST. It was suggested when they announced the bankruptcy that Diamond would try and sell DST off but their has been no updates on that. So for the time being they are still function somewhat as business as usual, but it should also be noted while at Toy Fair, they didnt really have anything new that hadn't already been shown or solicited before.

Flint has 6 fingers

Between this and that Super7 o-ring Wild Bill, I'd say it's safe to say that AI is actively replacing artists now for the GI Joe brand. Utterly disgusting and totally disrespectful to the artists of *all* descriptions who have worked on the line to date.

That card art on the retro Flint and Cover Girl is something else. They need to use the original art if theyre allowed. If they cant then they need to work on it. Flints face is whatever that is. He looks like hes in an opera. I dont even know what went wrong with the other. Weird hair and head. Good for a laugh I guess.

I am stunned at how bad the art for Flint and Covergirl is. Just stunned. It's a pretty big middle finger to MIB collectors.

The six fingers suggests AI-created.
