While not confirmed, abaddon over on He-Man.org got wind of this breakdown report of what Mattel showed for their Masters of the Universe: Origins line during a closed event at the German Toy Fair. Again, while nothing here has been officially confirmed, it makes for an interesting read. Hopefully we will get to see these things for ourselves later this month at the New York Toy Fair which kicks off on February 22.

Figures:
• Wave 1: He-Man, Man-At-Arms, Skeletor, Beast Man
• Wave 2: Teela, Evil Lyn, Orko
• Wave 3: Scareglow, Man-E-Faces, Mer Man
• Wave 4: Trap Jaw, Stratos, Tri-Klops, Stinkor
• Wave 5: Webstor, Fisto, Moss Man, Roboto
• Wave 6: Jitsu, Battle Armour He-Man, Buzz Off, Clawful
• Mail Away Faker

Vehicles:
• Battle Cat
• Sky Sled w/ Prince Adam
• Panthor with fur
• Wind Raider
• Battle Ram
• Zodac on silver floating chair platform.

Shoppe Exclusives:
• 2 pack of Beast Man and Mer-Man. Like He-Man 2 pack they have a vintage toy head and new toy head. 4 hands and more weapons. Yellow trident and wooden axe plus normal weapons. Merman head looks like old mini comic.
• Teela and Man At Arms 2 pack. Teela has Blond hair head and vintage head, sword and spear and shield. 4 hands on each. Man-At-Arms has vintage toy head and new toy head. Brown cape, mace, sword and gun. Man-At-Arms looks like more paint on him.

Boxes are window style like Battle Cat with art on top

• Convention Exclsive: Skeletor Keldor 2 pack. Has open comic like last years set. Skeletor looks painted differently and has vintage toy head, 6 hands and different sword with power sword. Keldor has purple cloth vest, sword and cape with bone harness and extra hands.

• Castle Grayskull under consideration. Looks like the Classics one but with old paint job with black on the face. Less items included.

Uh well, Mattel just teased its Power-Con exclusives. I hope this means that the supposed leaked list is only a lot of ??.

$40 per figure it a hard pill to swallow, might have skip on these exclusives. Pixal Dan seems to think that these will be based off of the Lord's of Power concept.

I find it odd that Mattel presents a SDCC exclusive on an event that is aimed at vendors from a foreign region, but yes, there is still nothing that tells us that the list is real but there is also nothing that indicates that the list is false neither, so it's just wishful thinking on my part.

If the list is real, I like what is coming for the Masters... I will be getting all this new Masters of the Universe collection with playsets included...,,?

I don't think the leaked list included Power-Con exclusives, only store ones and SDCC. Doesn't mean the list is legit, but by know means is an indication its not.

Do you think that could discourage the big name retailers to carry MoTU?.

Maybe. Netflix is popular enough and with a movie and two cartoons my guess Mattel will still be able to get them on shelves, now if sales are weak out the gate who knows how long it will last.

@JayCYeah, maybe it's all a confusion or a misunderstanding, I just hope that all these rumors are promptly cleared up by Mattel at once, really at this moment I don't know what to expect from them.

Well knowing Mattel I doubt they will comment much on the new cartoon anytime soon. Now it looks like the movie is def going to be going straight to Netflix and Sony may no longer even be involved.

... The heck! , how many parallel motu toylines are there going to be then?

You can watch the entire interview here, first I had to laugh when Kevin was trying to demonstrate his vast MOTU knowledge where he was talking about Skeletor and Darth Vader he references Trap Claw????? I think he meant to say Trap Jaw and may have just been a slip of the tongue, but was still funny to me.

Anyway you could tell Kevin really didn't know any specifics about toys and being this cartoon is a continuation of the original which I would assume the designs will be based on the original, I'm not sure how a cartoon line would look different from the Origins line. I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin maybe got confused and just assumes these Origins toys are based on the show. That they would do a completely separate line would be odd. Also you can tell the earliest we will likely see this new cartoon assuming everything goes smoothly is sometime in 2021, so we got a ways to go.

Exclusives both con and shop are just part of the hobby now. As for the mail-away that sounds more like a nod to old days.

I never had the experience to get mail away figures since I was leaving in a foreign country... Now will be the time to experience those legendary mail always.

I don't mind Con exclusives if they are done right. In other words, I don't care that they come inside an exclusive box and with extra accessories. But I hate it, when companiessell figures that ALL FANS want, but are unable to get.

Hasbro did it right with exclusives like the Black Series Thrawn. ( Have a con exclusive version with unique packaging and accessories, but make sure that the general public has a chance to own the figure).

Mail away Faker?, shop exclusives?, Con exclusive Keldor?, uugh... this better be fake rumors. Dude I really hate how companies are turning something as simple as buying a toy you like in a privilege or in the best case a headache. ?
