Its another year where I feel like Mattel really underwhelmed for me at ToyFair. Theirfocus is obviously kids (which is fine) but for the collectors things have just really died off since the Mattycollector days and now even more so without DC.
At this moment the only thing Mattel is doing that Im interested in is WWE which is a line I skip most of cause Im only interested in the legends and throwback figures and eventually MOTU which is still at least a half a year away and I really only have mixed excitement about.
Its just so odd as it wasnt that long ago that Mattel was one of the highlights and things Id be looking the most forward to at these shows. Im now nostalgic for the days where Id attend the Mattypoloza panels every year at SDCC and Power-Con and then after getting home from the conventions still go to watch the walkthrough videos with PixelDan even though I was just there.
Aw my god! Those Dinosaurs :D, ooh man I'm just excited on some of them such as the new dinosaur toys such as the Majungasaurus (that paint job is amazingly gorgeous) or some old or semi new figures with newer paint scheme like that Carnotaurus toy (even if it has that lazy battle damage splatter :/)
Im waiting on that Hurricane! But the first appearance Undertaker, Natti, and Baby Randy were a funsurprise
