In the case of the Skeletor, I would also worry about the figure breaking. More times than not clear plastic in action figures tends to brittle and break.
The Hotwheels one is transparent, btw. Otherwise you wouldn't see the car.
I love translucent figures, and have a real desire to grab them when I see them, but 50 dollars (or 65 CAD) plus shipping is a no go for me sir.
This would be the biggest waste of money for me. Thankfully, I won't be buying these
To be honest I don't know exactly what the appeal of these clear variants is, sure, they are commemorative collectibles, but come on, what's so special about translucent plastic, in Skeletor's case, wouldn't it have been more appropriate to replicate the vintage version instead of the Origins? and the price is simply nuts.

Just a note for anyone that is interested in these, the money gets taken out right away which did catch me by surprise a bit.
Is that Skeletor glowing in the dark?
People can complain about the price but I didn't see many people complaining back in 2013 when Mattel released a red, see-through Hordak (Spirit) and people paied $50 bucks for it...
