When I first glanced at it, I thought that Riker was Captain Shaw. Either way it's not great...

always happy to see more stuff for the people who might collect these but, I don't think these look that great, also that Toony stuff just looks out of place.
As a Trek collector, I couldn't give a rat's ass about Picard and Discovery and even Strange New Worlds (I generally like the show, but I don't need figures or other collectibles from it). I have some EXO-6 Lower Decks figures, which are basically just 7" plastic statues with swappable limbs and heads, but they look way better than these. I'm genuinely surprised these all look as cruddy as they do. I get that they're 4.5" scale, which isn't the best scale for high quality details and such, but I remember when Master Replicas made highly detailed and very detailed prop replicas. I guess a lot has changed in between MR shutting down some years ago and the brand being resurrected recently.

I expect that's going to depend on the scale and material used. They may well be able to do something bigger like the Playmates or DST ships or smaller like the old Hot Wheels starships. I wouldn't hold my breath either way, though.

If they would have released a ship, or even a playset accessory that could have made up for the weak character roster, then maybe I would have dipped...

These are probably the eras they have the rights to. Nacelle seems to have the the rights to the TNG, TMP, and TOS eras.

Until some company produces quality and affordable 6-inch (or even perhaps 3.75-4 inch) scale figures for Star Trek, akin to Star Wars figures, I'm out. They'll also need to commit to completing a series' main cast. Trying to match up to and/or revive the old 4.5 inch Playmates line has failed several times - leave it alone already.
Well Hiya may do a 1/18th scale SNW Spock, they are already doing Pike. They could make some others too who knows.

Old Riker has packed on some pounds but I am sure that is because they didnt want to spend money on a heavier set body mold. While they don't mention them the vehicles shown in the promo images honestly interest me more than the figures, especially if they do vehicles from Picard season 3. While the Enterprise D was in Picard season 3 and more widely known, I think its a mistake to start with that one being both DST and Playmates of done vehicles of the D. In fact Playmates just reissued their D a year ago. I think they would have been better to start with the Stargazer/Enterprise G since its never been done before.Right now they are only available on the MC website which is in the UK which means itsabout $34 after shipping per figure. If BBTS or EE start to carry these I may get the Picard Season 3 figures.
The starship Riker chartered to rendezvous with Picard was the USS Ozempic!

No TOS for you.
No TNG.
Old Trek has had plenty of merch released previously - multiple lines, scales and form factors. Most of the Secret Hideout-era haven't had *anything* yet. Let the new kids have a turn with getting some figures and toys. They'll always come back to the classics at some point.
Personally, I'm disappointed that it's 'to fit with the Playmates line' scale when the classic line won't fit due to sculpt style differences and the revival attempt really didn't catch on. I really would have preferred a 6 or 7-inch scale, but I understand the reasoning for it. Just wish this and the Nacelle Trek lines were compatible. It'll be interesting to see what they do in terms of 'playsets' and what sort of price they go for. The G bridge would be a lot of fun, especially if we can get the full Titan-A/Enterprise-G command crew.
