February 12, 2010
McFarlane Toys will be exhibiting at Toy Fair 2010, February 14-17 at the Javits Center in New York. The largest toy trade show in the Western Hemisphere, Toy Fair brings together more than 1,100 exhibiting manufacturers, distributors, importers and sales agents from nearly 100 countries to showcase their toy and entertainment products.
We will be unveiling some of our highly anticipated action figures, giving more than 30,000 industry attendees a peek at what's to come in 2010.
Some of our planned 2010 line ups include:
Halo
Halo is one of the biggest video games in history. 2010 will see the release of the brand new Halo: Reach game in the fall and McFarlane Toys will be riding shotgun with all-new 5-inch figures, vehicles and 2 packs.
Prince of Persia
The next big summer movie block buster from Disney for 2010. Relive the exciting characters and scenes in the form of 6-inch action figures, 4-inch action figures and playsets all from McFarlane Toys.
Major League Sports
With the addition of the Collector Level program, McFarlane Toys' Sports Picks have once again skyrocketed into the atmosphere. We're ready to take it to the next level with more of the highly collectible Collector Level figures -- and our hotly anticipated Playmakers line. Playmakers is a completely new type of McFarlane Toys product based on our existing sports licenses. These new action figures include the high level of detail McFarlane Toys is known for in a newly developed 4-inch scale figure. The addition of tremendous articulation, more than 20 moving parts, allows for complete playability and enables consumers to recreate countless sports action poses.
If you're one of the lucky insiders, stop by our setup in the Diamond Comics booth to see what's in store for 2010!
Check back here to TNI starting tomorrow, February 13 as we kick off our coverage of the New York Toy Fair in full force.
