The Karl Anderson figure doesn't look too bad in some ofthose images but I think single joints in wrestling figures is a major no no, let's not get into the price tag.

you mentioned ml figs but the thing about fictional characters is that theres not really a set height for each character. some characters have never shared a page before so its alot more difficult to scale match drawings by different artists. wwe figs are of real people with real heights and mattel has said they do try to scale the line. they just fail at it, badly.
We can just agree to disagree then. I'll concede that the WWE line has its problems, and yes, they are much worse with the female figures. The 5'1" (if that) Alexa Bliss should not be anywhere near as tall as the 5'10" Charlotte, nor should the doughy post UFC Ronda Rousey have better ab definition than Carmella or Bayley. The female figures have always been a mess and an afterthought, which is a damn shame, but to say Mattel is the worst in regard to scale, when considering who had the license previously is just a little much. Yes, fictional characters are afforded the luxury of artistic interpretation, so there's that, but if Mattel were to try to get every WWE figure completely accurate there would have to be a unique mold for every character and they would have zero re-use for any mold. I think they do pretty well for the amount of molds they have in varying sizes. At any rate they're better, many times over, than this train wreck.

You're splitting hairs. Your trying way to hard to disprove on small part of my statement, but I think my comments are mostly valid. I said it wasn't perfect. In my eyes thereis still a slight difference in these figuresbut yeah you could go through any toy line and find exceptions to any rule.Cena and Orton are closer in height than say Kane and Rey, but in general there is an apparent difference, especially in the premium articulated line.Even in ML Hasbro has somevery glaring size problems but in general what Mattel does wither WWE they do pay attention to size differences.

Those aren't from the Elite line. Those are the basic figures. You can tell by the articulation level.

and mcfarlane toys has never made wrestling figures so i dont get what youre trying to say there. maybe youre confusing them with figures toy company? they make the roh, future stars, and legends lines.
and it hasnt been tna for a very long time. the company is now called impact wrestling. and these are not licensed by impact anyway. these arent official impact wrestling figures so i dont get that comment either.
why would you even want all wrestling figs to be mattel sized? and mattel has 2 scales, neither even remotely realistic. is every wrestler the same height? so why would you want every figure to be?
First off, I know Luke and Karl got WWE figures, that's why I referenced "characters that already had figures".
Also, my comment for McFarlane was in how he said the fans would drive how the DC line would go, but when most of them (not all) said they wanted them to scale close to ML he basically just told the fans they did NOT want thatand did his own thing, which is 7". That's his jam, he knows what he's good at. I'm just glad he finally caved to the fact that the "fans" wanted articulation (action) in their action figures. I personally feel he would gain a lot more business if he did go to 6.5" cuz many ML fans, like myself, would begin to collect them again.
As far as Impact vs. TNA....apples to oranges. I haven't watched it since it was TNA. I hear it's gotten much better since the new investors have rebranded it as Impact. Glad to hear it, I might have to check it out. Just misspeak. It's just nothing more than us older guys referring to theWWE the WWF.
As far as Mattel doing all WWE figures the same size, that's just totally not the case. Take a Randy Orton figure (listed at 6'5"), a John Cena figure (listed at 6'1"), a Rey Mysterio figure (listed at 5'3") and a Kane figure (listed at 6'11") from the Elite line and they are all different sizes as compared to each other. This iseven the case in the basics line. Are they perfectly scaled, probably not, but it's a hell of a lot better than Jakks was doing whereKane and Rey were exactly the same figure, with just different paint jobs. I'm no big fan of Mattel. I think they could have and should have done DC Multiverse way better, and I think we were all waiting for them to do so, and I think they deserved to lose the license, but as far as WWE goes, they are heads and shoulders better than they used to be.
Eh, these remind me of those terrible Jakks Pacific WWE figures. The torso even looks identical. Either way, at 7"these don't look tobe in scale with the current WWE figures or AEW figures so I'll just wait till these guys either sign with AEW or TNA licenses another toy company who has the sense to do figures to match the current scale.
Starting a line with a new scale with a foreign wrestling company like New Japan Pro is one thing, but getting in on domestic characters that either already have figures or that most people want to be made to match the figures at 6.5 scale is almost pointless. Then again, McFarlane doesn't seem to care much about that, so why should Super7? Scratch that,carry on Super7!
The $45 tag is the Ultimate (pun intended) killer though. The accessories are cool, but not that cool. Especially sense the figures aren't gonna match most of the figures that most wrestling figure collectors have. At least McFarlane know he has to keep his figures at a comparable price point.
I have to admit, i haven't been too familiar with most of the wrestlers that S7 have been making figures of.I'm more of a 80s/90s fan. I'dlove to see S7 Ultimatesfor Road Warriors, Flair, Vader, Dynamite Kid, Tiger Mask, etc.
They look pretty good... Great addition for any wrestling fan.???
