We are now learning that co-creator Bryan Fuller of the CBS All Access series 'Star Trek: Discovery, has confirmed he has no further ongoing role in the project.

In an interview published today by Newsweek, Fuller is quoted "I’m not involved in production, or postproduction, so I can only give them the material I’ve given them and hope that it is helpful for them."

Full co-created the project with Alex Kurtzman and developed the show, writing the first two episodes and working out the first season storylines. He exited as showrunner in October, citing other commitments, including his television series adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods but remained as an executive producer.

Fuller has expressed interest to support the project and has made himself available for the project's potential second season. "They have my number and if they need me I will absolutely be there for them."
