THR reports that Justice League director Zack Snyder steps down due to family matters. According to the report, his daughter died by suicide in March, causing the director to take time off to be with his family.
Taking over the reins will be Avengers director Joss Whedon who will handle the post production as well as shooting of some additional scenes.
There are currently no plans to delay the release of the movie which is slated to hit theaters on November 17, 2017.
