Good movie. Not great, but almost. I'd probably rank it first or second among the DCEU movies. The cast was just outstanding!

Really liked the way the characters were designed. They weren't the stereotypical villains in a good-versus-evil storyline. Glad Patty Jenkins and the rest of the writers & producers took that route. It comes closer to the realities of the audience and has humanized Wonder Woman further... The very semblance of what we need right now in the middle of a terrible pandemic surrounded by self-absorbed fascistic so-called leaders: a face of compassion yet fallible and a person with an extreme desire to serve others but has her own personal longings/aspirations as well. ????

I don't think I really liked this movie, it felt forced and kinda goofy a lot of the time IMO, I felt like way too much of the film was sort of padding to make the time run longer, I could have been happy without like 40 minutes of the movie, I don't know maybe I have to watch it again, but that's the thing I don't want to.

Yes, a lot of people seem to dislike it but somehow I still enjoyed it, Wish I could have seen it in the cinema. Imo I think director was trying to homage Richard Donner's Superman, Burton's Batman Returns and Sam Raimi's Spider-Manand mixing it with Wonder Woman Tv show with 80s aesthetics. Overall results are mixed its not as well done as Shazam or First Wonder Woman but it has better writing for character motivation than BVSJOSStice League, Suicide Squad. It was on the level of Aquaman. I think for the next part they should do justice league story with big focus on Wonder Woman in style of Marvel's civil war movie, there's great Justice Leaguestory called JLA: Golden Perfect, it's aboutlasso of truth being broken which causes horrible universe wide effect, story had heart and interesting plot would make perfect sense for 3rd wonder woman entry, you could even argue there's some seeds already planted for this.

Yes cast did real good, I loved villains for the most part, character motivations were well written, yeah it had some cheesy stuff but it was 80s homage movie after all.

I'll happily take a little of Patty Jenkins' cheese here and there over what some other film makers think is "insane and so epic."

I can not wait to find out how Steve Trevor made it into the 1980's without ageing. And didn't he blow up on a plane or something? Really liking the look at Themiscara or the Island, it looks great.
