UPDATE: Mattel has informed us these exclusives will be made available to folks not attending SDCC this year on their website. The pre-sale for these are expected to being 6/26 and ends on 7/1.

Mattel has revealed it's 2018 San Diego Comic Con exclusive 6" DC Multiverse set and DC Hot Wheels set via THR.

For the 6" DC Multiverse line they will be releasing a 3-pack featuring figures of classic Aquaman, Black Manta and Ocean Master. The packaging will be done to recreate the classic comic book cover from the 1968 Aquaman #35. The set will cost $60 and feature Aquaman in his classic scaled orange and green suit, Ocean Master with his signature cape, mask and a spear weapon, and Black Manta who comes with three interchangeable friction-fit eyepieces, a backpack and a harpoon.

The DC Hot Wheels set will re-create the cover to Action Comics #1 and cost $20. Check out images for both of these in our IMAGE GALLERY below.

I hadnt seen the Superman one, posted above, until now... I love how it manages to recapturethat classic comic cover design. BUT, the set I want is that Aquaman set. I love absolutely everything about it! Manta looks pimp, with those swappable eyes and blue-on-black airbrushed effect. Aquaman himself looks a bit like Buster Crabbe, from the old Flash Gordon serials, via the head sculpt. And Ocean Master just looks like he stepped right off of the comic page. Talk about a killer set of figures!

I like the Black Manta.
