A few weeks ago, "
Prey", a new science fiction/action/horror movie in the
Predator franchise, came out and was very well received. In the movie, we can see a new
Predator hunting (
and being hunted by) a Comanche tribe, in
1719 North America. Since then, toy collectors worldwide have been waiting for a brand to do an action figure of the
'Feral' Predator, seen in the movie.
NECA has already teased that they would do figures of Prey...
but there's a twist!
If you search for "
Prey" on IMDB, you'll see that there is a truckload of movies called "
Prey", and what
NECA actually meant when they said that they were going to do action figures for the movie "
Prey" was that they would make figure from the
2021 Netflix German movie "Prey", not the Hulu 2022 one!
In that movie: "
A hiking trip into the wild turns into a desperate bid for survival for five friends on the run from a mysterious shooter." And it certainly is
a movie! The reviews for that film on IMDB really show you the quality of it: "
Stupid and a waste of time", "
Terrible", "
The actual prey is the person who watches the movie"... No
Predator, just
5 German hikers. Those figures are gonna be lit!
