It happens every year. Thousands of
toy reviewers and
YouTubers prematurely post their
Top 10 lists of the year during the month of
December, leaving all the figures that came out that same month out of the list. Then, the following year, they are not included either, since they came out the year before and are not eligible... A tragedy we need to work on

ToyFarce interviewed the
MAFEX Cyborg Superman figure, which came out a few days ago and who, according to it, should have been in most
Top 10 lists: "
I had heard about it happening to other figures, but never thought it would happen to me... I was supposed to come out in May 2022, but got delayed. It's a shame, because the MAFEX Hush Superman was on a lot of Top 10 lists last year, and I am basically that figure... but better, with robot parts! It's outrageous, I have been snobbed!"
The
Armored Batman (Kingdom Come) from the latest wave of
McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse figures, which was already spotted in several stores in the US (
mostly California) also had words about the situation: "
It could have been my year! Now, the only way to be in any kind of Top 10 list would be thanks to those who ignore the rules and put figures from other years in their lists, because "WeLL, i GoT iT tHiS yEaR...". I'm sorry, but a Battle Cat from MOTU Revelation from mid-2021 shouldn't be in a 2022 Top 10 list, because you only got it now... There are rules!"
We, at
ToyFarce, would like to call for an
emergency meeting of the
toy community to discuss this issue. We propose
2 solutions: Either move the Top 10 list season to early
January, or have an agreement that the Top 10 lists include
December from the previous year (
December to December, if you will). We cannot keep neglecting perfectly fine toys just to be the first to post a Top 10 list. They have feelings!
