NECA released a
Ultimate Jigsaw figure... but could he also be behind the
3-Day Convention Exclusive drops that have left so many collector defeated?

The sales for the
NECA Convention Exclusive figures this year have been very challenging for numerous collectors during the first 2 days. The items seem to
sell out in seconds, and lots of collectors do not even get the chance to add them to their cart before seeing the
Sold Out screen. Today will be the last day. Could it be another sinister machination from
John Kramer, the original
Jigsaw from the
Saw movie franchise?
Earlier this week, we received a
VHS tape at the
ToyFarce headquarters with no return address. (For the younger readers, a
VHS tape was what we had before
DVDs and Blu-rays. For the even younger readers,
DVD and Blu-rays was what we had before
Youtube, Netflix, Disney+ and MAX). The
VHS included a recording of the puppet from the
Saw movies, saying the following:

I want to play a game... For years, you have been too comfortable ordering your collectibles online and pre-ordering anything that comes out, but that comes with a price. Long ago, people had to actually be physically present to the conventions to get the exclusives. It has been too easy for you, and you take that for granted. On June 26th, 27th, and 28th, I will take control of the NECA store website, and decide at random who can get the toys and who will see a 'Sold out' message before the end of the check out process. Most people are ungrateful about the amazing collectibles that they get, but if you get one, you won't be ungrateful anymore. Let the games begin..."

This is actually kind of poignant, and maybe a little too true for some of us.
Anyway, this was a solid one, nicely done.
Lucky to get mineonly ordered 1, though.
