It's definitely a brilliant idea. If they had the distribution and were "out there" where the general public could see it they'd probably sell extremely well, there are a lot of passionate college football fans out there. As someone who likes to give action figures as gifts (regardless of whether the recipient likes figures or not) these present a wealth of gift opportunities. I know once they get around to Notre Dame I'll be getting my sister one. I have a brother-in-law who played for Iowa, so there's another I'll be picking up once they get around to it.

Totally with you on the generic thing, the more "general public" options the better.
