Getter Robo Figures Ready to Launch!

Two new figures from the recent hit anime Getter Robo: Armageddon and Getter Robo vs. Neo Getter Robo will soon be on collector’s shelves, and they are available exclusively in North America through Diamond Comic Distributors!

Getter Robo is the legendary story of the Getter Team, which are massive super robots that are created to protect the planet from any threat. With the show’s strong fan-base, and the amount of collectors of Super Robot toys, it seems only natural that they have some cool collectibles to honor the show and boost their collections. There is nobody more suited than Kaiyodo of Japan to answer the cry of the "anime-niacs," who will want to add these new figures to their collection.

These 5" tall figures were sculpted by master robot sculptor/designer Katsuhisa Yamaguchi, who also sculpted the Neon Genesis Evangelion EVA Figures and the Trigun: Monev the Gale Figure. The figures are highly detailed and feature multiple points of articulation for a wide variety of action poses! The Getter Robo Regular Action Figure includes a machine gun, two Getter Tomahawk axes, four extra hands, and the Mach Wing attachment. The Getter Robo Battle-Damaged Action Figure features a weathered machine gun, two weathered Getter Tomahawks, five extra hands, a power core, removable arm and replacement stump, and a base featuring a fallen enemy. These are two figures that no collector or anime fan will want to be without. These figures are the latest releases in Kaiyodo’s "Yamaguchi Super Robot Museum Plus" line, whose previous releases include GaoGaiGar, Jinki Moribito, and the Votoms: Battle-Action Scopedog action figures!
