Those are cool... I dont think I ever saw any static figures like those, back in the day. I do remember having a Frieza in the same line as the figuresI showed in the picture. As well as a regular Gi donning Goku. I find myself really wishing that I hadnt gotten rid of those, at times. Just because the nostalgia for them ramps up for me, every now and again.

Although, I wasnt nearly as entrepreneurial as my contemporaries, so they mostly went to Goodwill, and such places. But, the figures that survived were the ones I liked the most, aesthetically, since I was never fully able to dig into the majority ofDBZ.
These are the ones I still have:

I practically had every figure in that series except for a few in the DB GT waves. I also had a ton of the Irwin Toys and Jakks Pacific figures. Those were awesome, both companies showed a lot of love for the series.
Unfortunately, I decided to reduce my overall collection to make it more manageable, DBZ got the cut. Sold the entire Dragon Ball collection to a local comic shop. Sad to see them go, but it did give me a decent amount of cash for a family vacation.

Added bonus, the Frieza Force provides many options for them to choose from.
Agreed

I think all that means is that they made these with the intent to sell them to people who collect the SH Figuarts but I think aesthetically they fit better with the Figure Rise which also more or less can fit into SH Figuarts.
