With just over five weeks left until the kick off of the 2006 Comic Con International in San Diego, CA, Master Replicas is pleased to provide the first of five weekly updates, regarding all things MR at Comic Con.

First and foremost, to answer the most frequently asked question: the 2006 Master Replicas Convention exclusive will be a limited edition Black Chrome version of the highly anticipated Han Solo Blaster Scaled Replica. Only 3,000 units of the exclusive will be produced, and it will be sold at the show on a first-come/first-serve basis. Be sure to visit the Master Replicas booth early (and often) to ensure that you don’t miss out! (This just in: Master Replicas will be in Booth # 2913!) The Black Chrome Han Solo Blaster Scaled Replica will retail for $45 each…plus, as an added incentive, a very rare, randomly inserted chase version of the exclusive will be made available as well! Good luck, and happy hunting!

In other product news, Master Replicas has just confirmed that the very first shipment of the Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode III Force FX Lightsabers will be routed to San Diego – making Comic Con your first opportunity to purchase the Obi Wan FX! And of course, you can also stop by the booth to purchase the hottest item of 2006 – the Darth Maul Force FX Lightsaber! In fact, Master Replicas has devised a “Comic Con Show Special” – if you purchase the Black Chrome Han Solo Blaster Scaled Replica AND the Darth Maul Double Bladed Force FX Lightsaber, OR spend $250 on anything in the booth, and you will automatically be enrolled in the 2006 Master Replicas Collectors Society. (Over a $300 value!)

Plus, your new Collectors Society membership will gain you entry to Master Replicas’ Costume Party Extravaganza – an exclusive invitation only, VIP party taking place the evening of Friday, July 21st. Come dressed as your favorite character – prizes will be awarded for the best Star Wars, best Marvel, and best Disney costumes at the event!

This years’ party promises to be one of the best, with celebrity guests, exciting announcements, games, prizes and much, much more! (And wait ‘til you see the goody-bags we’re putting together for Collectors Society members!) Famed Star Wars artist Tom Hodges will be among the celebrity guests, and what’s more, he will be awarding several lucky Collectors Society members with hand drawn original t-shirts! (For more information, please visit www.TomHodges.com.)

If you don’t want to wait until the show, please visit https://masterreplicas.com/corporate/collectors/index.php to sign up for your 2006 Collectors Society Membership!
