While I don't buy or collect McFarlane Toys' 7" DC stuff, I have gotten some of his nostalgic 6" retro lines (i.e., Batman '66). Although I wish that they had better articulation, at least the sculpts nicely capture their TV & cartoon depictions. Unfortunately, with McFarlane losing the DC license and despite the video mentioning a 2nd wave (Superman, Flash, Cheetah, Toy Man & Captain Cold), it will still mean that this new Super Friends line will be left incomplete without 3 original team members: Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Robin. I hope there is a way for McFarlane to continue with at least DC's retro lines or if only a 3rd wave so that collectors can complete the main team and won't be left abandoned.
I have the Batman one and I like it for what it is. The old Hanna-Barbera cartoon they are based on had kinda clunky animation, and I feel like the limited articulation here sort of works at capturing that. That said, the 2 things I don't care for much on it are the weird shape of Batman's cape, and I do wish there was a little more range in the legs as apposed to just front and back. Because of that, mine is just kind of standing unposed on my shelf. I will probably get Superman and the Flash, and probably Wonder Woman if they make one.

So he's on the money, if that appeals to people. They're 6" and it looks like a nice job with matching the face likenesses up to the cartoon show, too. Thing is, when I was a kid, supercharacters action figures weren't all that plentiful, and what you (regularly) would get was Batman, Superman, and Spider-Man. And this level of articulation was about what you would get, too ( and count yourself lucky that you even got that). But I always wanted more.
They funny thing is that if there were Super Friends 5POA Reaction style figures I'd buy them in a heartbeat, bit something about this in between articulation just doesnt work for me.
