Worlds of Fun looks interesting....I'm always on the lookout for some new coasters to ride...

Since I'm in Wichita, which is a couple hours south of KC I guess I have to defend it. While it's true there isn't much to do around here (ie Kansas in general), KC does have an amuesment park and water park; Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. While I haven't been there in a couple years they aren't bad and actually have a couple good rollercoasters.

No need to defend it. Most folks who go to the Con only go for the Con, and leave right afterwards. Only helping the food service industry from our tourism!

oh yeah, well I was thinking the one that had a scarecrow and a tin man.

What were you thinking of sweaty men locked in a cage? Man stop watching that midget wrestling!

Bang zoom too the moon

Go back and play with your 5ft tall Mouse freind from Orlando

I have been to KC once back during the mid90's at Kemper Arena. Oh its tempting right now but I have to choose either botcon or Joecon. Botcon I can also go to Disneyland. What is there to offer in KC?

The world famous Kansas City Royals

Well, There is always that gateway to OZ too. Hmm, curious. @loll@

While the east coast will have a lot of the circle in the ocean on its east half, Kansas City has a wide ocean of nothing between it and Denver, and after Denver there's another wide ocean of nothing for a while.
