"GI Joe: Initiate", a fan webseries based on the popular Hasbro toyline debuted on 8 Sep 2012 at COIL Con in Kokomo, Indiana and on youtube. The cast primarily consists of real world military veterans. The series draws heavily from the popular IDW comics line and the Adult Swim mini-series GI Joe: Resolute however, much is borrowed from the Larry Hama Marvel series, the classic Sunbow cartoons and other Joe sources.
