G.I. Joe Relaunches Again In February From IDW

IDW plans on relaunching their G.I. Joe title again with starting with a new #1 issue in February 2013. The new series will be helmed by writer Fred Van Lente and artist Steve Kurth. The Joes who were once a top-secret organization have been outed and thrown into the public spotlight while still having to deal with the forces of Cobra.

In a interview with CBR, writer Fred Van Lente says this will be a title that grows out of and builds on recent developments in the Joeverse, but at the same time it's a perfect jumping on point for anyone who hasn't picked up the IDW books yet, or, for that matter, people who don't anything about the Joes at all.

Check out a preview of Kurth's artwork below and head over to CBR if you want to check out the entire interview.
