G.I.Joe Valor Vs. Venom Thunderwing W/Slipstream Pics & Review

Nightcreeper sends us these images and review of the new G.I.Joe: Valor vs. Venom Thunderwing w/Slipstream from Hasbro.

Ahhhhh, The Thunderwing with SlipStream. Lets start with the figure. Best Figure mold yet!! This figure mold is probably tied with Leatherneck. His Forearms,hands, feet and legs are Hard plastic! Recently in VvV wave 2 and some of 3 the forearms and feet and legs on these figures were made from a very soft weak plastic.This figure is just amazing, he looks exactly like a pilot. I remember when hasbro said they are gonna do flesh painting from now on on all figures....well most of you disagreed and wanted flesh molded, well even if flesh painted can get scratched, it adds much much more realism to the face! Other flesh molded figures faces makes em look like they are a kid or like their face is distorted. The flesh painted makes the figure look so real. The colors are a great choice for this figure! His helmet is awesome!!! These vehicle drivers keep getting better and better and better! Way better than the normal wave figures.

The Thunderwing is the best JvC vehicle to hit the market. It is tied with the Warhammer. On the top there is a button to press to activate and de-activate the sound, so thats a possitive knowing you can turn the sound off. You reload the missles from the top of the plane, but they shoot from under the nose cone from that hole (see above pic). Some people have mentioned the wings maybe being to small or some sort. Well no not at all, they are the right size!! They look in proportion and are excellent! Two figures fit in a highly detailed cockpit. When the handle is down and sound is activated, when yout tilt the plane left and right up or down, a voice speaks the direction in which you moved the vehicle. On the handle there is a small button for machine gun sound, the big trigger is for shooting missles and droping bombs. The handle which comes down to drop the bombs and so on is easily hidden. The bomb and missle aiming feature is very very cool! You change the setting from bomb to missle by turning the exaust port at the back of the jet. The landing gears are strong and support the planes weight, without landing gears the plane wouldn't be fun to play with. Its huge!!! The CC is longer but the CCC is not BIGGER. This jet is amazing! Hasbro has been stepping it up soooo much with their vehicles and vehicle drivers. Keep it up hasbro! They need the people that design the vehicle drivers and vehicles to design the figures for each wave!

You have to get this Jet if you are a joe fan!!! You cannot pass it up!!! I plan to get one or two more thats how good they are!!
