New G.I. Joe Classified 6" Special Missions: Cobra Island Promotional Figure Images That Will Make You Cry With Envy

After the online pre-order debacle with these the other day on the Target website, I am almost afraid to show you these new promotional images that have hit the net for the G.I. Joe Classified 6" Special Missions: Cobra Island assortment being sold exclusively at Target stores. This assortment includes Beach Head, Roadblock v2, Cobra Topper and Baroness with C.O.I.L Bike.

These new highly detailed images give us our best looks at the figures yet including their accessories.

As we reported yesterday, while these figures have started showing up already at Target stores, the official street date for their release is 8/14/2020. Also not it appears each store will be getting at least one full case for each figure in the wave. For the single packed figures it's 6 figures per case. The Baroness and bike costs $39.99 and the single packed figures are $19.99 each.

While currently sold out below are links to each figure on the Target website along with the DCPI# for each one. You can use the DCPI# to check and see if your local store has gotten them in yet either on sites like brickseek or at those little red display screens located throughout most Target stores. We also suspect the figure will be made available again online at some point. It was only the initial pre-order for the figures that sold out.

Good luck and happy hunting, and YOJOE!

Def doesnt mean they r done with target. Just means the wave is no longer in production and so what ever is in the warehouses is it which really has been the case for some time.

Well hopefully they will re-stock or something and this time distribute to a wider venue, so that collectors who want them will get a chance. This has been oneridiculous, incompetentexample of how NOT to do an exclusive sale. Also I really do hope they do a mass re-release because that will be a big EFF U to the scalpers who are hoarding these. Yeah not too many people are gonna pay $100+ for a figure they can get from their local store or Meg or BBTS for $19.00.

GI JOE cobra island discontinued?

No official response yet. This could mean theyre done with Target and will just go with normal retail. Or...they may be done altogether for his wave....more to come...

Apparently, Target is breaking the cases down in the DC and sending one or 2 of this wave to stores.

Hasbro needs to step in. If theyre going to keep doing these exclusives, despite the massive fan outrage over how theyre handled, then they should insist these outlets start considering these scalper bots or whatever as malware or place them under the BOTS Act. The BOTS Act outlawed the resale of tickets using bot technology, see if that can be applied to other items, set a fine of $16,000 for each violation of the act. I'm no lawyer but I cant believe this corporation is as helpless as they want to appear.

Hear hear.

Got my Baroness and Coil bike in the mail from Wisconsin today. Haven't taken it out of the package, because I tend to let things sit in the corner in my office for a week these days, but everything looks good so far.
