Hasbro Finally Officially Reveals G.I. Joe Classified Major Bludd But Says Wait Until June For Details

Hasbro today finally officially acknowledged the upcoming G.I. Joe Classified Major Bludd 6" figure which we first saw hit eBay a few weeks ago, They however did not reveal any other details other than this one image and told folks to wait until June for details like a release date.

Hasbro is trying to make June a big promotional month for G.I. Joe. They have dubbed it G.I. Joe June where they will be doing a live-stream and supposedly revealing new products. The problem with waiting until June for Bludd however is Target stores are showing in their systems that they are going to be getting the figure in store on or around May 19. The figure is a Cobra Island Target exclusive. Now some are hoping Hasbro will also release these on their Pulse website. We saw two weeks ago when they put the Cobra Island Firefly and Cobra Viper figures on the Pulse website, they both sold out in like 3 minutes. That was only making it available to just their premium members (Those willing to pay a $50 membership price) and supposedly 1 per-person.

So now we have a situation where it looks like Target stores will start getting the Bludd figures in their stockrooms any day now, but Hasbro is unwilling to give specific details about it until June. Even if Hasbro makes the official release date for the figure sometime in June, as we have seen in the past that never seems to hold once the figures arrive at these stores. Call me crazy but that sounds like a perfect receipt for more frustration in a long trend of frustrations with this line for the consumer.

I just came from a couple Targets and saw 3 Cobra Commanders, 2 Flints, 1 Lady Jaye, and 2 Zartans and a couple of the repainted ones. This whole Cobra Island debacle is irritating. I went there to get a Rise of Evil 2pk from MOTU that the website clearly said they had "Limited Stock" of which means they have 1 and they told me they got 3 in and sold out a while back. In other words I just got lied to and the guy didn't know if he had it or not and didn't seem like he wanted to check in back (nor did I press him to do so). All very discouraging.

Piss off Hasbro and Mattel.

These Joes are looking so great, I was worried when the first three came out. They are really delivering. Well kinda. So hard to get. Hopefully it gets easier.
