Marvel...

- Young Avengers will be worked on by Allan Heinberg of The OC and Jimmy Cheung.

- YA will take place between the events of Avengers Disassembled and the debut of the new Avengers ongoing, and will apparently feature "all new characters".

- The lineup on the new Avengers ongoing will include Captain America, Spider-Man, Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew), Luke Cage, Wolverine, Iron Man, and The Sentry, among others.

- New Avengers issues 1 through 6 will EACH have a variant cover by various star artists. A poster featuring the six variant covers will also be made available.

- Ultimates returns in December with a second volume, as well as the planned hardcover collecting the first volume.

- Ultimate Nightmare will be the first in a trilogy of limited series, leading to something called Ultimate Secret, which will be a collaboration between Warren Ellis and Steve McNiven.

- Frank Cho has signed exclusive with Marvel. His first project will be the planned Shanna the She-Devil series.

- Darick Robertson has renewed his exclusive contract.

- What If? returns in December as a "fifth week event". Attached names include Kevin Smith, Brian Bendis, Alex Maleev, Ed Brubaker, and Chris Claremont, among others.

- Seven issues, the new What If? series will focus on: What if Jessica Jones joined the Avengers? What if Professor X had formed the X-Men with Magneto? What if General Ross had become the Hulk? What if Aunt May died instead of Uncle Ben? What if Victor Von Doom had become the Thing? A What The?! humor issue. And What if Karen Page hadn't died?

- November will see the start of Ed Brubaker and Steve Epting's run on Captain America, as well as Warren Ellis and Adi Granov's run on Iron Man. Both will relaunch with new #1's.

- Steve McNiven, Adi Granov, Trevor Hairsine, Olivier Coipel, Jimmy Cheung and David Finch are now being touted as the "Young Guns" of Marvel.

- Starting in January, the Hulk regular series will be replaced with a Hulk limited series. Called Tempus Fugit, the mini will be handled by Peter David and Lee Weeks.

- Peter Milligan's run on X-Men is expected to begin in December.

- Bryan Singer's Ultimate X-Men project is still expected to happen, though nothing has been scheduled.

- February will see the return of Jean Grey in a Phoenix limited series by Greg Pak and Greg Land.
