Fans have been clamoring for the reprinting of two key Ultimate Universe tales, never before reprinted in comic book form. Now, Marvel is going to make a lot of folks happy by putting the special one shots, Ultimate Spider-Man ½ and Ultimate X-Men ½, together for the first time in Marvel Milestones: Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate X-Men, Microman, and Mantor the Magician.
In Ultimate Spider-Man ½, Spider-Man meets the Hero-for-Hire known as Iron Fist in his senses-shattering Ultimate debut. While in Ultimate X-Men ½, the focus is on Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch as they deal with the apparent death of Magneto.
“Fans were asking us all the time when we’d be reprinting Ultimate Spider-Man ½ and Ultimate X-Men ½ - we probably get more requests for those than for any other books,” says Associate Editor of Special Projects Mark Beazley. “We try our best to use the Milestones books to meet the demands of fans, as seen in the recent reprinting of the UK Captain Britain story. And as an added bonus we’re throwing in two golden age stories from our Marvel Masterworks: Golden Age Human Torch Vol. 1 HC – the first appearances of Microman and Mantor the Magician from the 1940s Human Torch #2…surely everyone remembers them!”
Don’t miss Marvel Milestones: Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate X-Men, Microman, and Mantor the Magician as the Ultimate Universe becomes hotter than ever.
