For those of you who have been wondering when you should start expecting to see the third wave of TMNT Classic Series figures hit shelves, according to Playmates it will be in late July just in time for the new 2014 TMNT movie. The third wave of figures feature the four turtles based on the Jim Henson designs as they appeared in the original live-action TMNT movie back in 1990. These figures will have similar articulation as the first Classics wave. The blister card packaging will contain graphics from the movie. Look for them to be sold at Toys R' Us and online etailers.

As for the fourth wave of Classic figures. We have still been sworn to secrecy as to who will be in the wave. But we can tell you that they will be two very BAD-ass figures and we expect them to be announced during the Playmates panel at this year's San Diego Comic Convention. So stay-tuned for more on those next month. We are also expecting the announcement for this years San Diego Comic Con exclusive TMNT figure which will be sold at the Nickelodeon booth to be coming very soon as well, so also stay-tuned for that.
