2010 SDCC - Mattel's Mattypalooza 2010: Masters of the Universe Classics, Ghostbusters (With Images)

We will be taking a look over the course of the next hour at what Mattel has in store for collectors with lines such Masters of the Universe Classics, Ghostbusters and more. Mattel toy designer Bill Benecke, Mattel brand manager Scott "Toy Guru" Neitlich and The Four Horsemen are on panel.

The panel is about to begin.

Retro Action Green Lantern Figures. One per month, Sinestro and Gu Gardner to start off.

12 Pack 6" Legion boxset is coming.

Ghostbusters:

Club Eternia and Ecto-1 subscribers will get their figures shipped together.

6" 5-pack coming to TRU.

MOTUC/DCUC 2-packs aquaman and Mer-Man (Classic Mini Colors) and Hawkman/Stratos. There will be a total of 6 2-packs released this year.

Swiftwind Vote to be in classic pink or white will be conducted today.

Roboto announced with gears that work when he twists.

Royal Guard figure 2-pack with 4 differernt heads

Buzz-Off and Bow are coming figures. Bow will have mustache and non-mustache head.

Shadow Beast is coming.

Vokor is another figure announced based on the original concept art of He-Man and he will come with the half blue power sword

Battle Armor Skeletor with purple Ax and not sword like pictured.

King Hiss vintage looking with swapable armor.

The first MOTU vehicle is coming in qrt 4.

Pre-Eternia Time Travel He-Man with Gildores time key from the movie will be the 2011 Club Eternia figure.

Regular Orko is coming in Aug to Matty Collector for $25.

Q&A begins, images are going up in a min so keep checking back

200x look is retired. It was a hyper-styled look that was an interpretation of the vintage. The classics is also an interpretation but in a classic style. So if they did a 200x He-Man figure it would be like the first he-Man with some different armor. If they did a Snake-Armor He-Man it would be a Classic looking He-Man with the Snake-Armor.
