TNI Summer Con $200 Toy Give-Away Contest Details

Toy New International is going to give one lucky summer convention goer this year a chance to win a $200 store credit from their choice of any of the current TNI online sponsors. Here is how the contest will work. You need to first create a TNI (Toy News International) poster. This poster can be of any size, but it must clearly have legible the name Toy New International and the site URL: ToyNewsI.com. How creative you are with the designing of your sign will be very important for the winning of the contest, as you will see as you read on.

You will then need to bring your poster to either of the follwoing two conventions:

Comic Con International San Diego - July 21-25, 2004

or

Wizard World Chicago - August 13-15, 2004

Once at the convention you will then need to find a celebrity of some type and ask to have your picture taken with them. In the picture you must be holding your TNI poster up with the celebrity. The TNI name and URL must be clearly legible in the picture for the entry to be qualified for the contest.

As far as the celebrity goes, it doesnt have to be any kind of megastar, but there are all kinds of well known people from the toy and comic industry that attend these conventions. It can be comic writers, artisits, well known people from the toy companies, basically someone that we have heard of in some capacity, and hey if it happens to be a movie or TV star, so much the better, but please whoever you have your picture taken with make sure you ask for their permission first. Don't just run up to someone and quickly have someone snap a picture of you holding a sign as you run by.

Now once you have your picture, you simply email it to us at CelebContest@ToyNewsI.com. You will have till August 21st 2004 to send us your entry. (one entry per person).

We will then take the top 5 entries based on the best looking TNI posters used in your pictures with the celebs (we will mainly be looking at design & creativity), & draw one lucky name from those 5 entries on August 22nd 2004. That one lucky winner will then be able to pick any ONE of the current TNI sponsors and awarded a $200 store credit for that sponsors store they pick.
