I love a lot about this figure, enough to almost get it, but it also has some downfalls, like the really long neck and the super stylized anime face, the powered up angry face is pretty awesome, but the regular face is just too weird smiley for me, but other then the faces this figure is stellar, but not worth the price for me, put this on sale, and you got me.
Little way too "Anime" for me but it's not like we could expect anything else from Amazing Yamaguchi, but I'm glad they giving wired cloth capes a try.

I'd like to see someone do a really good figure of Michael Turner's Supergirl. I've seen attempts at it in the past, but they were kinda ugly...
Imma be honest, The in hand photos are not looking that great. She suffers too much from the anime stylizing imo. That neck is NOT it. And the face looks too childlike imo

The legs are certainly better.
But noseless-looking anime faces just aren't my thing.

To avoid making a new mold. I am sure the leggings are so he could reuse a mold. I've seen speculation he wanted to evoke the TV look but I don't believe it.

Agreed. This is how its done. I love McFarlane's stuff, but this is the correct way to have done this one.
