DC Direct Kicks Off New Line Of Cartoon Network Items

Cartoon craziness kicks off this summer as DC Direct joins forces with Cartoon Network for a new series of items based on animated shows, beginning with the FOSTER'S HOME FOR IMAGINARY FRIENDS: FEATURING BLOOREGARD, MAC & EDUARDO STATUE!

This limited-edition, hand-painted cold-cast porcelain statue will be advance solicited in the January issue of Previews (Volume XV #1) for release in July.

"The entire DC Direct creative team is very excited to have the opportunity to work with Cartoon Networks' library of characters," says Georg Brewer, DC's VP — Design & Retail Product Development. "Working hand-in-hand with the fine folks at CN, this line gives us the opportunity to apply our talented team in a new and fun visual direction."

At the same time, DC Direct offers a selection of other Cartoon Network items originally available via the Cartoon Network Web site. Based on The Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Space Ghost Coast to Coast and Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, these items are sure to appeal to fans of those shows as well as DC Direct collectors.
