Director McG recently spoke with IGN at FOX's Television Critics Association after-party about his planned feature film reboot of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Check out the highlights of the interview below and you can read the full interview here.

A meeting has been set with Sony and the script is being polished. McG is laser-focusing on Masters Of The Universe as being his next film. No one has been cast for the movie and casting hasn't even begun yet. Once the movie gets full approval and gets rolling then casting will begin.

The background of the movie will completely take place on Eternia and Earth is mentioned as Earth is a part of the lore. But it's largely an Eternia story.

McG mentioned it was a secret about Prince Adam and He-Man bring two different people, two different characters in the movie.

Classic characters will be involved in the movie such as Mer-Man, Evil-Lyn.

Cringer and Battle Cat will be in the movie.
