Neca has done much better facial models than this. Also, I wish they had made the coat out of fabric.
NECA presents the second in a series of action figures from the legendary Hammer House of Horror! Hammer has produced landmark horror since the 1950s, with the first being Horror of Dracula. The film captured audiences with its mix of vivid color, carnality, and violence. Peter Cushing plays the iconic character Van Helsing, who is sent to destroy Dracula, as played by Christopher Lee. This Ultimate Van Helsing stands in 7-inch scale and features an interchangeable waist for an alternate look in either his vest or long coat. Accessories include interchangeable heads, hands, and gloved hands, as well as a cross, hammer, wooden stake, wooden stake bundle, and two candle holders. Comes in collector-friendly window box packaging with opening front flap. You can purchase this figure from our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com with suggested retail price of $36.99.
And just like that, I'm nervous about what NECA's Ultimate Sam Quint will look like in better detail than what's on the back of that box there.
I dunno about that Hooper figure, he looks a bit bloated, Richard was pretty darn slim in the first Jaws, this doesn't look right, his head is so puffy looking and oversized, and he just looks thick, The Clothed figure from before hid the body better, but he still had the puffy face and big head, Too Bad.
I still wanna see Shredder as Dracula...
...gonna need a bigger boat
Shown below via Best Buy is a look at the NECA Jaws 7" Ultimate Matt Hooper (Amity Arrival) 50th Anniversary Figure. Stay tuned for more info as we get it.
Ultimate Matt Hooper gives me a little hope there may be an Ultimate Sam Quint figure in the future.
I'm loving the Van Helsing fig. I can't wait for it.
Cushing Van Helsing is a must for me. Only question is do I have him staking Lee or Lugosi?
So will NECA start doing all of the Hammer horror films? They had a lot of Dracula movies in the day.
