Never payed attention to this Lion Superman, I want that! what a fun figure, also really would like that Platinum Hawkgirl, but good luck to me ever finding those, I mean I guess maybe that Lion Supes? that's not an exclusive or something edition? I dunno anymore Todd's stuff is just all over the map in a confusing way.
Im gonna have to get that nightwing. Is shipping still insane from mts?

I still have my vacu chrome Cyborg from the original line. I did like seeing what mCfarlane did with the 5" 3 pack JSA set; he should do Dr. Fate, Dr. Mid-Nite, the Spectre, Wildcat, Black Canary, Sandman, Atom and Hawkman (their 1940s classic looks, of course). Then again he may not have time or desire to do any of these, as he's losing the license.
The Platinum Hawkgirl is much nicer. So I think I'm out on the figure over all.
The hands were covered in those first images, I'm so glad to see the regular Strange Lives Superman comes with lion paws! It's perfect!
First announced during WonderCon, and now thanks to the overseas retailer krauseriihk we have our clearer in-hand looks at several new DC figures from McFarlane Toys featuring the DC Collector Edition Superman (Strange Lives Of Superman), The Amazing Story of Superman Red Silver Platinum Edition, Hawkgirl (Platinum as well), Red Lantern Guy Gardner(Red Platinum) and Mr. Terrific (Red Platinum).

Agree on all counts!

Back when gas cost $1/gallon and Spawn figures cost $10, and there were Spencer's Gifts and Suncoast stores at almost every mall and FYE even Walgreens carried those figures, it kinda was. Things are very different now, but nobody's ever accused Todd of changing with the times. Now that **** is pretty much just fun for him.
Yeah, I've never been sure of Todd's rationale around many things. Like you said, his mindset seems to have locked into a point in time that is long gone, and he seems to have no clue that it's just not fun for very many people other than himself.
