by Outsiders
April 01, 2005
ActionMcFarlane tears into the new Nextel Cup season with its fifth series of action figures. The NASCAR 5 lineup features four of today's top drivers, one NHRA living legend and one commemorative figure for a racing star who left us all too soon. Gentlemen, start your engines:

Kevin Harvick

Tony Stewart

Martin Truex Jr

Davey Allison

Dale Jarrett

John Force

Look for the six-figure NASCAR 5 series to arrive in stores this summer and for more information on these figures, check them out here.

This spring, we'll be seeing the first lineup of drivers in 3-inch scale. These figures will be sold individually at major retailers, and match up perfectly with 1:24 scale NASCAR diecast cars and items. The first series includes these seven popular drivers:

Dale Jarrett (UPS 2004)

Jeff Gordon (Dupont 2004)

Rusty Wallace (Rusty 2004)

Tony Stewart (Home Depot 2004)

Richard Petty (Petty Racing 2004)

Jimmie Johnson (Lowe's 2004)

Bobby Labonte (Interstate Battery 2004)

Click on the names for links for more information and images of this new series and look for these figures to drive into stores this May.
