VOLTRON FORMS ONGOING
SERIES IN JANUARY!

10/23/03 CHICAGO

LION VOLTRON, MEET VEHICLE VOLTRON! The newest on-going
series presented by Devil's Due kicks off in January 2004, with VOLTRON: DEFENDER OF THE UNIVERSE #1 (VOL.2)

Next Wednesday, the 5 issue Voltron mini-series by Devil's Due, through Image comics, goes out with a bang, and DDP has provided preview images to whet your appetites.

The series was a triumphant success for the company, and has warranted an ongoing series by extraordinary writer Dan Jolley (G.I.Joe, Firestorm) and pencils by E.J SU (Tech Jacket, Micronauts) and Clint Hilinski.

The mini-series was a revamp of the classic story behind the famous giant robot, consisting of five mechanical lions piloted by brave space explorers sent to the remote planet of Arus. In this new series, we introduce the Military's attempts at creating their own Voltron (VEHICLE VOLTRON), which eventually brings havoc down on Earth by way of Alien Invasion. The evil alien warlord, King Zarkon wants Voltron's technology and won't stop until he retrieves it. After the failures of his son, LOTOR, left him dissatisfied, Zarkon is calling in the menacing QUEEN MERLA to take over operations.

Issue one features a wraparound cover by Su. As an incentive, there is a rare edition featuring new villain, QUEEN MERLA, by artist Tim Seeley.

The incentive is only available to comic book retailers for every 15 copies of the regular series ordered.

Products and merchandise may be purchased at www.devilsdue.net or ask for them at your local comic book retailer.

Voltron comics may be purchased at your local comic book retailer (dial 1-888-COMIC BOOK) or at www.devilsdue.net
