- Steve Niles is working on The Very Big Monster Show, Hyde, The Lurkers, the pulp influenced Secret Skull, and Bad Planet with Thomas Jane (The Punisher).
- Steve Niles' 30 Days of Night world will be explored by Matt Fraction in 30 Days of Night: Bloodsucker Tales.
- Steve Niles also announced that his Cal McDonald series will be moving from Dark Horse to IDW, the next of which will be Cal McDonald: Supernatural Freak Machine, a 6 issue series with Kelley Jones on art.
- Jeff Mariotte's Desperadoes, formerly published by Wildstorm, will continue under IDW as well.
- IDW will be publishing Will Eisner's John Law series, with Australian creator Gary Chaloner.
- Chris Long will be writing The Easy Way for IDW.
- Brian Posehn (Mr. Show) will be writing The Last Christmas for IDW.
