The actor confirmed with
IESB today that he has indeed been approached to play Lex Luthor in Bryan Singer's "Superman".
Spacey, who worked with Singer on "The Usual Suspects", says he'd like to work with the young director again, and at the moment can see only his position as Artistic Director of the Old Vic in London causing a conflict. But having said that, nothing's set in stone.
Should Spacey find time in his 'busy' schedule, he'll join Brandon Routh - Superlad - on set in Sydney next year.
