Struggling network NBC has unveiled a new schedule to take effect from September.
In addition to re-jigging the timeslots of several existing programmes, NBC took the axe to several shows. American Dreams, Third Watch, Revelations, Law and Order: Trial by Jury and The Contender have all been cancelled.
In a surprise move, the ratings-challenged US version of The Office was renewed. Two versions of The Apprentice will air on consecutive nights, while The West Wing was moved to Sunday nights. Scrubs and Fear Factor will be returning but do not have timeslots yet.
