SCI FI KICKS OFF A NATIONWIDE CASTING CALL TO DISCOVER 'WHO WANTS TO BE A SUPERHERO?'

New Reality Series Starring Comic Book Legend Stan Lee

New York, NY - March 27, 2006 - Do you have a superhero persona you've been itching to try on? Well, this is your opportunity! SCI FI Channel is partnering with legendary comic book creator Stan Lee's ('Spider-Man,' 'Hulk,' 'The Fantastic Four,' 'X-Men') production company POW! Entertainment, Inc., and Bruce Nash's Nash Entertainment ('Meet My Folks,' 'For Love or Money,' 'Who Wants to Marry My Dad?') to cast a six-episode, one-hour reality series that will challenge a lucky few to create their very own superhero. The winner will receive the best reality competition prize yet: immortality!

Potential heroes from all walks of life are encouraged to submit their audition tapes by mail or attend a one-time, in-person open casting call in Los Angeles on April 4 attended by Stan Lee! All you'll need is an original idea, a killer costume and some real superhero mojo. The winner of this six-week competition will walk away with their superhero identity immortalized in a new comic book created by Stan Lee himself! The winning superhero will also be featured in one of SCI FI Channel's wildly popular original Saturday night action movies! Auditioning superheros should be prepared to prove their mettle - revealing the true nature of their superhuman abilities and invoking the noble credos by which they live. From these thousands of hopefuls, Stan Lee will choose 11 lucky finalists to move into a secret lair and compete for the opportunity to become a real-life Superhero!

"While no one is expected to leap tall buildings in a single bound, our aspiring heroes will be tested on their courage, integrity, self-sacrifice, compassion and resourcefulness - the stuff of all true superheroes," stated Lee.

Finalists will leave their former lives behind and live as their brainchild heroes 24/7, all under Stan Lee's watchful eye. In the end, only one aspiring Superhero will have the strength and nobility to open the gates to comic book immortality.

"It is such an honor to be working with the legendary Stan Lee," said executive producer Bruce Nash. "He has practically written the superhero code. With his expert guidance, we're sure to find the world's next Superhero."

"We are looking forward to joining forces with Stan and Bruce to search the universe for these fearless competitors," said Mark Stern, EVP, Programming, SCI FI Channel. "At some point in their lives, everyone has wanted to break out and be heroic, and now is the chance for a chosen few to shed their every-day identities and truly express their inner superhero."
