NECA will be posting
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figure images for what they say is World Turtle Day. The images are teases for what looks like
6" TMNT figures in their more 80's animated series classic looks. If that is the case, then these are likely going to be one of their
2017 San Diego Comic Con exclusives. Stay-tuned throughout the day for more updates as they happen.
UPDATE 1: Neca released another teaser image showing the TMNT in front of artwork depicting the San Diego Convention Center where SDCC is held each year. This all but confirms that the images we are seeing are for an upcoming Con exclusive.
UPDATE 2: NECA has released a new image of the figures showing Shredder's hand busting through. Probably an indication we will be getting a second set similar to last year with bad guys also based on their classic animated series look.
UPDATE 3: For the final tease of the day, NECA released an image of what appears to be the blister tray from the packaging for the villain set. The outline shows what appears to be weapons and Foot Clan figures. Presumably we will be getting two different boxsets like we saw last year. One with the Turtles and the other with Shredder and the Foot Clan.
UPDATE 4: Well it looks like NECA had one more tease for the day. This image shows their 1/4 scale 90's Movie Turtles next to the likely SDCC exclusive 6" classic animated series ones. Of course we can only see the 6" figures from behind with the new image.
