We reported to you a few weeks ago that former Hasbro Marvel Universe designer David Vonner had taken on a new job with the folks at Jazwares Inc. Though we hoped this meant that Dave would get a chance to work on the Mortal Kombat line, we didn't know for sure if he would. Now based on a recent Facebook post from Jazwares, it looks like Dave in fact will be putting his design skills to work on Mortal Kombat. Here is what Jazwares posted:

Fans question: "Are we getting more MK figures?" Answer: "Yes, we're in heavy discussion with the new addition to the figure team David Vonner!"

Exactly what new figures we will be getting remains unknown at this time, but hopefully we will get some more details soon.
