A newly-released Japanese trailer is providing the first look at "Max Steel," an upcoming sci-fi/superhero movie that's based on the action figure toy line and animated series from Mattel.
The live-action adaptation stars Ben Winchell as Maxwell "Max" McGrath, a teenager whose life is upended when he discovers he has a super ability to absorb and generate "TURBO" energy. After forming a physical partnership with a small alien robot named "Steel," Max is transformed into a techno-organic superhero and takes over his late father's mission of protecting Earth from hostile aliens.
