An image has surfaced online via
Mike Torrez on Facebook giving us our first look at Mattel's new
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Large Scale Basic Stratos figure from Mattel. This is based on the Netflix CGI series.
Startos actually did not appear in season 1 of the show so this figure is our first look at the newly designed character. Like
Man-E-Faces which we saw last week, I assume he will be in season 2, if Netflix picks up the show for another season.
From the image it looks like this larger size figure of
Stratos which stands 8.5" tall along with
Trap Jaw has started to hit shelves somewhere. The large figure is currently available for pre-order at our sponsor
BigBadToyStore.com and there is a normal size 5" version coming as well which you can pre-order from our sponsor
Entertainment Earth
UPDATE: Mike tells us he saw these figures at a Walmart in Southern CA.
Hopefully we see guys like stratos and man e faces in season 2. S1 was thoroughly enjoyable and toyetic I felt.
I'm really looking forward to the second season, thought the first was a really enjoyable experience. Hopefully the show and toys are doing well so we see MOTU in the spotlight for years to come.
