Power Rangers 6" Lightning Collection MMPR Red, Gold Dino And Beast Morphers Blue Rangers Revealed?!?

Looks like the first three figures in Hasbro's third wave of 6" Power Rangers Lightning Collection may have been revealed via the overseas auction site Taobao.

While we haven't been able to 100% confirm the legitimacy of these figures shown nor has Hasbro even officially confirmed the line-up for the wave, it does seem likely we are seeing three of the 4 figures for the first time here. Shown are the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger seen in the group shot as well as the Gold Dino Charge and Blue Beast Morphers Ranger figures.

The fourth figure rumored for the wave which has yet to be seen is said to be Lord Drakkon from the BOOM Studios comic book run. Check out the images below and thanks to Henry for the heads up.

Me too, except it would be every Rangers from every seasons... and every villains... and every allies (like Ninjor and Sentinel Knight)... oh heck, a part of me even want a Bulk and Skull two-pack.

You're right! I don't know why I only wrote Rangers, there's plenty of villains that I'd love to have in plastic form.

The wave confirmed at Paris Comic Con including Drakkon.

Oh boy! Imma me that red MMPR, and if the rumors are true, I'm also gonna need that Lord Drakkon since I recently started checking out those comics. Can't wait to see them make other rangers like the Zeo, Turbo, In space, Time Force, Wild Force, hahahaha, basically the rangers from every show I watched as a kid.

I actually had to look up Lord Dakkon to see what the big deal about him is, he has a cool design and an interesting backstory. That said, I'm kind of surprised Hasbro would go for him so early in the line then again I could see Hasbro getting him out of the way early so people will stop asking for him.

The thing about it is Hasbro owns this license now so unless sales just totally dry up its not like Hasbro isn't going to eventually get around to doing everyone. While granted I an not a huge Power Rangers fan, I like to see them mix it up a bit.

Kinda hope the Drakkon rumors turn out to be false. I mean its great they're giving love to the comic fans, but this isn't really THAT line. To my mind, this is about the show, the place it all began, Mighty Morphin', Lost Galaxy, Operation Overdrive the whole shebang. I see the comic adaptions, the theatrical films, that sort of thing, all being totally different animals.

Don't get me wrong, if they wanna make a Drakkon as a store or con exclusive, awesome. More power to them, but we're going on 27 years worth of Rangers to cover, not to mention 27 years of actor likenesses to license and perfect. Giving what amounts to a minor detour a slottakes up valuable space in the main line. It's a waist.

We will probably know this weekend as I expect some Power Ranger reveals to be made this weekend at the Paris Comic Con.

That MMPR red ranger looks really good! I think this looks like the real deal. I just hope we can get a Power Rangers Turbo release at some point! Those often get overlooked but was a good season! I would like to see what Hasbro does with a character like Justin from Turbo.
