Yeah this Midus rex is pretty rad looking, put the helmet on the guy and it's really cool, could easily be tossed into a Warhammer, Mythic Legions or whatever collection.

I dont know these fortnite characters but this seems to be a good looking action figure. Cool armor and helmet.

Shown below are new images for the upcoming 6" Fortnite Battle Royale Series Midas Rex figure coming from Hasbro. The figure is currently listed on the Amazon website though not available for purchase. Amazon has it listed with an October release date, though its not clear if that is when the figure will actually see release.

They told me the same with the Overwatch line, the point is these modern video games seem to have a defined life cycle, one day they're trendy and the next day another video game take the place. Also, I don't know, the only people who play that prefer to spend their parents' money on Loot Crate boxes or skins for theirs characters.

Again, you may be right, but Im not playing Fortnite or spending money on it and Im still invested on the toys because they are good, fun toys (Jazwares and McFarlanes at least). So if they are making them in a way they can switch back blings and weapons with the previous companys figures (which following their track record with Marvel Legends would imply they will), this will be a successful line.

I mean, Jazwares was going on 2 years and made over 30 figures, mostly unique sculpts, affordable, articulated, with plenty accessories, and many were hard to get, and are expensive in the aftermarket. So I personally doubt theyll flop like Overwatch, but well see how it goes.

So far, Im interested in the Black Meowscles set, the ski shark and Rippley.

There's no plastic window either, so think about all the germ covered fingers that will be poking the fig heads before they're bought. This style of packaging is awful and makes me not want to buy it since I can't really see what I'm buying. For all I know the wrong arms or something is attached or the accessories are all missing. This is terrible Hasbro. Fix it.

there is plastic on the window. You can see the little "recycle" triangle on one corner.

I'm excited for this line, yet at the same time I'm gonna miss Jazzwares stuff.

Just like the Overwatch line this one is ill fated as well...

I dunno man, if they play well with what Jazzwares did, I believe they have a great shot. I got into the Jazwares line and dont even like Fortnite that much!

Yeah. This is only going to get worse over the next year or so. Next will be Star Wars and Marvel.

Yeah. Doesn't really bother me though, I buy all my figs online.

It looks like its the start of that "earth friendly packaging" drive of Hasbro I read about a few years ago. I was curious how they were gonna do it.

Yeah. This is only going to get worse over the next year or so. Next will be Star Wars and Marvel.
