Hasbro today is holding a new live-stream with the G.I. Joe brand team which we are bringing you coverage of as it happens. We expect new product pre-orders to launch later today at 1pm ET at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth. Today's pre-orders are likely to include Quick Kick, Cobra Techno-Viper, Airbourne, Big Boa, Retro Duke, Retro Scarlett, 60th Anniversary Wetsuit Trooper, 60th Anniversary Camo Trooper and Retro Recondo. Whether some of these will be store exclusives remains to be seen but should find out during this live-stream along with other new reveals in both names and digital renders.
The live-stream has begun.
They are not doing any digital renders reveals today, just four name reveals and then going over the pre-orders.
The name only reveals are Starduster, Nemesis Immortal (Enforcer) from Cobra La, Zandar, Leatherneck.
Nine items going up for pre-orders today, Big Boa, Techno Viper, Quick Kick, Airborne, Retro Recondo, Retro Scarlet, Retro Duke, 60th Anniversary Wetsuit Trooper and 60th Anniversary Camo Trooper. These will all be mainline items going up for pre-order at 1pm ET.
They showed a Techno Viper Test figure where the colors got messed up.
The cardbacks on the Retro figures will be much more sturdy than the ones they used with the Walmart ones.
Ol' Techno-Viper's already starting to lose his shiny silver Cobra emblem on his chest. Did he come that way, or did that happen from posing him around with his weapons for the photos?
