Sesame Street is joining the Supersize world! Coming this Fall to Super 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7! Ah-ha-ha-ha!
Shown below is our first look at the Supersize Sesame Street Count Figure from Super7 and is up for pre-order from our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.
No lie, a large scale super grover is something 5 year old me would dream of owning.
A few weeks ago we had told you how Super7 had teased that they would be doing some kind of figures for Sesame Street. It looks like these will be part of their 18" Super-Sized line as our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com has listed two of them for pre-order. The two figures being listed are Super Grover and Count von Count. No images are available at this time. This doesn't mean that Super7 also couldn't do ReAction or Ultimates, but for now this looks to be what they are starting with.
So a mix of muppets and humans? Id probably pick up some of these depending on who they make and how they look. My biggest want would be Oscar..
The price is what it is i guess...funny thing, at least for me, the price doesn't really hit you until you buy more than 1 at a time. Then its like "Did i really just pay $60+ for 3 5 poa figures ?!?"
Reaction is more interesting to me than ultimates here. Wish they'd get those prices a little lower though
I wonder how deep they'll go with this line?
This is extremely cool, but the $20 price points... if these were no higher than $10 each, I'd have a lot more of them. As it is I always have to hunt down sales/clearances on any releases.
BUT, no lie, if this leads to licensing for a Mr. Rogers release, or maybe even a Reading Rainbow Levar Burton release, I will be over the moon.
This makes me ridiculously happy.
Super7 must owe Scrooge McDuck swimming pools to License holders over how many Licenses they have, they acquire a new one every day it seems, who knows what's next Caillou and Baby Shark?
